During Games CON BioWare has finally launched the game that it has been teasing over the last few weeks. Called Shadow Reals and set in an alternate reality Earth the game pits humans that are just awakening to their powers against a foe called the Shadow Legions of Embra.

There are some concerned gamers out there today as BioWare made some interesting comments about the future of Mass Effect. One of the biggest ones was a continual reference to Next Generation. The game, which puts players into a trouble future, is a highly popular one even if the ending to the last installment did annoy some of the more hardcore fans.

BioWare co-founders Dr. Ray Muzyka and Dr. Greg Zeschuk who needs no introduction, will be awarded the Lifetime Achievement Award at the annual Game Developers Choice Awards (GDCA). The thirteenth consecutive awards ceremony will be held on 27th March at the Moscone Convention Center in San Francisco, and will be led by veteran of the game industry Tim Shafer from Double Fine.
