The alleged specifications of three new Samsung Galaxy Tab 4 models were revealed that belong to the middle price segment of the market. The first of them, the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8.0 4 should have an 8 inch AMOLED screen with a resolution of 1280x800 pixels, a processor with four cores running at 1.2 GHz, 1 GB of RAM (1.5 GB or in a version that supports LTE mobile network), 16 GB of free space for data storage and a microSD card slot. There is also a 3 megapixel front camera, 6800 mAh battery and Android 4.4 KitKat operating system.

Sony Xperia Tablet Z unveiled

Sony unveiled the Xperia Tablet Z at the MWC in Barcelona. It is a 10.1 inch tablet based on a Snapdragon S4 with 2GB of RAM and a screen resolution of 1920x1200 pixels. The operating system is Android 4.1 Jelly Bean, and Sony has announced an upgrade to 4.2 immediately after the launch.
