At the first developer conference dedicated to the concept of a modular cell phone Ara, Google's head of the project Paul Eremenko gave the first clues about the possible occurrence of the devices on the market. As he publicly announced before the audience on the first day of the conference, mobile phone Ara should go on sale in January next year. Basic package should include the motherboard, and with it the screen, Wi-Fi and processor modules.
