It is a free application intended for verifying the authenticity of the photos, which is conducted through six different forensic testing. In addition to control of metadata, application tests which camera was used when the picture was taken, were there any manipulations and re-saving ofthe photo and how the compression was conducted.
Checking is done exclusively on photographs in JPEG format. The company FourandSix point out that every device and software in a different way saves JPEG files. Photos are best distinguished thanks to the compression settings that are used in this software and devices.
