Lenovo pulls in a record quarter
Lenovo has released the financial report for the last quarter of 2013. It says that it was a record one for the company during which they sold 32.6 million devices. The growth compared to the same period last year was 30%, and its main generator are units from the so called PC Plus category,which are mobile phones, televisions and tablets.
XFX brances out, shows off their first case
XFX's debut case comes under a name XFX Type 1 Bravo, has dimensions of 518x232x562 mm and a weight of 10.4 kg. The casing is made in modern minimalist design, and materials like steel, aluminum and ABS plastic are used in its creation. It supports mounting of the motherboard in the full ATX format and XFX marked it as Water Cool Ready.
Lenovo bought IBM's Server business
From Lenovo Group Ltd. announced that they have reached an agreement with IBM for the sale of their departments for production servers. After they in the 2012 from the same company purchased unsuccessful ThinkPad Department for $1.75 billion, and made him the world's leading manufacturers they have now decided to make a similar move with the server department of IBM.
Lenovo coming out with another new AIO
New All-In-One computer from Lenovo has a 23 inch IPS screen with a resolutions of 1920x1080 pixel and dimensions 426.71x579,12x101,6 mm. It weighs just under 12 kg (11.79) . The screen comes in a 16x9 aspect ratio and is touch sensitive. Support for up to ten simultaneous touch points is also there.
Further layoffs at HP
HP decided to further increase the total number of employees laid off by the end of 2014. According to the plan in September, the plan was the release of 29,000 people, and earlier in May they announced the release of 27,000 people.

Lenovo marks an increase in both sales and revenues
Lenovo has released a report for the third quarter of 2013 which states that the company has profited thanks to the increasing demand for smart phones and tablets. Their sales in this segment have almost doubled.
