Refreshed MacBook Air still without Retina display
According to MacGeneration's sources, Apple will introduce a refreshed MacBook Air next week. Both editions of notebook will be refreshed - with diagonals of 11 and 13 inches.

This has allowed Apple to push their products on the market as significantly higher prices than their competition and still maintain great sales.

During the second half of this year, Apple should introduce MacBook Air notebooks with Retina Display. Although information proverbially comes from unofficial sources, the presentation of Retina screen in the MacBook Air and other products (like the iPad Mini) is expected move for the next generation of Apple devices.

In March of this year (2012), Apple launched the iPad 3. That was the company's first tablet with a so-called Retina display that brought a much high resolution. Few expected that Apple would go ahead and launch the fourth generation iPad only eight months after the launch of the third generation and then follow with the iPad mini so quickly. The Fifth generation, they say, is just around the corner.
